If your education stopped with high school, your career options may be limited. Some of you may feel as if the job you are in right now has no room for advancement or doesn’t provide the quality of lifestyle that you would like to have.

At Star of Texas Dental Assisting School, our students get to explore many facets of dental assisting so that they can truly find what they are passionate about. Along with learning the ins and outs of general dentistry, our students get the opportunity to do rotations through our Endodontics, Periodontics and Oral Surgery departments.

While Star of Texas dental assistant students are in the training program, our School Representatives help them with resume editing and interview preparations so that they can have the highest rate of success in finding a job upon completion.

In May 2012, it was reported by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics that the mean annual wage for dental assistants was $16.86/hour or $35,080/year.
